Using the charging directory

EV Chargers Near helps you discover public charging locations, compare reported connector details and save stops. The map and local saved trips can be used without signing up.

Coverage, connector details, pricing, opening hours and availability may be incomplete or outdated. Availability is not live. Confirm access and compatibility with the operator before travelling. Overlapping records may describe the same location; an import date does not mean the charger was recently checked.

Maps and directions

Maps, external directions and optional station searches depend on third-party services and may be unavailable. Free map services have no guaranteed uptime. Map credits identify the applicable data licences.

Use of Google Maps features is also subject to the Google Maps additional terms. Google results are provided for interactive viewing, not bulk extraction or redistribution.

Saved information

Saved stops and trips stay in your browser. Clearing storage or using another browser profile may remove access to them. Keep an exported backup if you need a durable copy. Anyone using your browser profile may access its saved trips.

Submitting a station

Submit accurate details about public charging stations only. By submitting, you confirm that you have permission to share the details under CC0 for public use. Do not upload private locations, personal information, advertising spam or information you have no right to share.

Submissions appear as unverified community records. Five confirmations from distinct IP addresses mark a submission as community verified; five incorrect reports hide it pending administrator review. Shared networks count once. Community verification is not an operator inspection or a guarantee of live availability. Administrators may edit or hide inaccurate, duplicate or inappropriate entries. A submitted listing does not imply that a charger is operational.

Advertising and sponsor messages

Free use may include clearly labelled advertisements or sponsor messages. A sponsor message can be dismissed using its close button. An advertisement is not an endorsement of the advertiser, product or charging location. External sites have their own terms and privacy practices.

Buying an advertising placement

Request a top banner, bottom banner, side box or sponsor popup for 7, 15 or 30 days. The administrator reviews the creative, confirms a quote and sets the final start date. An approved campaign is shown within its scheduled dates after payment is confirmed. Payments requiring review remain pending until the administrator checks them. Keep your private status link; when email delivery is configured, updates and invoices can also be sent to your contact email.

Dates are in UTC. The placement ends at midnight after the purchased number of days. Side boxes appear inside the station list on phones and desktops. Banner dimensions adapt to the screen, and popups can be closed and are frequency capped. Requested dates are checked against existing reservations before approval; no minimum impressions, clicks, reach or exclusive placement are promised. Ad-free members do not see ads.

Only submit creative and links you are entitled to use. Misleading, malicious or inappropriate adverts may be declined or paused. Pausing or switching off advertising does not automatically extend campaign dates. Payment and refund questions are reviewed by the administrator; recording a refund on this site does not itself transfer money. Nothing here limits statutory consumer rights.

Pay only the accepted quote. Card payments are processed by Stripe. For cryptocurrency, use the exact asset, network, destination and quoted amount. Submitting a transaction hash is not payment confirmation. Avoid paying twice by card and cryptocurrency.

Optional ad-free subscriptions

If enabled, the ad-free plan is a recurring monthly subscription. Stripe Checkout shows the price and currency before payment. Active access removes website advertising; it does not improve data accuracy or provide live charging availability.

Use Manage billing in your account to change payment details or cancel renewal. Cancellation at the end of the billing period retains ad-free access until that paid period expires. Clearing browser storage does not cancel your subscription. Existing members can access billing even if new signup is disabled.

Responsible use

Use the service without disrupting it, bypassing access controls, spamming submissions or exposing another person’s private information. Interactive request limits help keep searches available. Rights in map and station data remain subject to their applicable licences.

We may improve features, correct records or update these terms as the service changes. This page shows its latest update date. Our privacy policy explains location requests, saved information, accounts and optional services.
